Salman Rushdie

"A poet's work is to name the unnamable, to point at frauds, to take sides, start arguments, shape the world and to stop it from going to sleep."

Salman Rushdie

I aint sorry

Should i admire a flower for its beauty?
Nay.

I believe admiration is for something that is self -made
Self- accomplished.

May be I am too shallow to understand evolution
And to praise it.
I hold that revolution must have led to evolution
And the force that makes both happen is God.

Nature is just His one form out of many.

What i believe perhaps is the truth for only me
But i cannot help with the way I see.

I acknowledge your beauty little rose, daisy, daffodil and lily
But the sad truth- you have been made.

Ah, I see you are hurt
And you see I aint sorry.
